Recent graduate of the School's full-time undergraduate programme DT205 Mathematical Sciences, David Lau, has received the John M Forde medal in Mathematical Sciences for 2018. The reception took place following the graduation ceremony for the College of Sciences and Health and David received his medal from DIT President, Professor Brian Norton.

The John M Forde medal is awarded each year for the best final-year, full-time undergraduate performance in mathematics and David is a very worthy recipient. We warmly congratulate David on his award, wish him every success in his future career and look forward to seeing him again very soon.
