20 Nov 2018: School of Mathematical Sciences recognised for curriculum-based community learning

The DIT Students Learning With Communities programme recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. The School of Mathematical Sciences has interacted with the SLWC project throughout this time with many of our undergraduate students engaging with learning with the community during their work placement in third year.  Our students bring their valuable mathematical background and expertise to projects with community partners and help analyse and solve their problems.

In recognition of this interaction, the School received a certificate to mark its involvement and three members of staff also received certificates for their work. Happy birthday to SLWC!
